It houses more than two thousand works of art, of which some can be dated back to about 6000 years ago. So many historic preserved examples of art, visiting The Asian Art Museum takes you on a tour back in history. The Museum also houses several breathtaking contemporary works. You can take a guided tour around the galleries within the Asian art museum for free. The Museum curates several special exhibitions throughout the year. The tickets for admission into special exhibitions can be purchased online, or at the museum. Admission for adults is $15, teenagers 13-17 years and seniors 65 and above are charged $10 while children under 12years are totally granted free admission. Admission is offered on a first come first serve basis, so please be sure to book your tickets early especially on holidays. You can gain free entry on the first Sunday of each month. Members of the museum also enjoy free entry.

There is a store within the museum displaying and selling an array of objects directly from across Asia including basketry, jewelry, ceramics, sculpture, woodworks, books and lots more. This museum store is opened during the same hours as The Museum. The Museum is closed on Mondays and Thanksgiving. It is open from 10am-5pm on Tuesdays through Thursdays. Don’t worry about bringing along young children, as there are baby facilities such as strollers and diaper changing equipment in the restroom.
